We begin our experience in academy 1 with a program design that fosters first time experiences to our infants. We understand that a routine is essential to a child’s reassurance of what to expect in their day. Our infants learn to play and socialize for the first time with their peers in this academy room.
Music, singing songs and sensory play is a daily experience for our little ones. In this room our children are starting to recognize first words. A weekly plan is designed to expose them to concepts such as first words, shapes and forms, touch, feel and smell through our educator’s guidance.
Early story telling through books and puppets are used to animate the listening experience with a lot of word repetition to help the children develop their phonemes and create early phonetic awareness.
